Boxwood hen figurine

Miniature “Hen in the Nest” lucky trinket hand carved from boxwood and finished with hard wax oil. This small collectible sculpture depicts a nesting hen protecting the eggs beneath her wings — a traditional symbol of prosperity, care, home, and good fortune in many cultures. A chicken's beak is an insert made of bone. This mini artwork is made with attention to detail. I used the technique of deep relief carving. Thanks to this, you can see and touch every feather and every line. Designed as a pocket-sized sculpture, this miniature object is pleasant to hold and explore through touch. The rounded form, carved texture, and smooth polished surface give the figurine a calming tactile quality, making it suitable as a comforting keepsake, desk object, or small collectible carried in a pocket or bag. This figure is for collecting, because in my shop you can find several more mini figures, and I plan to continue this series. The work is made with love for nature and animals.
