Halloween dachshund figurine

Hand carved wooden dog figurine inspired by the Dachshund breed, made from persimmon wood and finished with hard wax oil. The entire sculpture is carved from a single piece of hardwood. I’ve included a few photos of the creation process. I really think dachshunds are very cute and beautiful dogs. I tried to capture their soulful expression, their big, round, sparkling eyes, and their characteristic drooping ear on one side. This figurine is fully three-dimensional, carved on all sides, and bears my signature on the bottom. All the details are carved with hand tools in my small home workshop. Carving, sanding, polishing, everything took 12 + hours. This Halloween-themed dachshund figurine can add to your collection celebrating your love for this breed—or even start one if you don’t have one yet. I plan to continue making collectible figurines, so please keep an eye on the shop.
